It's that time of year again.... Hockey registration is OPEN!!!!  

There are a few changes this year…… Please make sure you review the full email.

We will be fully using GrayJayPay this season for registration -  please choose the link that aligns with the player you will be registering

• Player is registering for the first time with minor hockey

• Returning player who doesn’t have a GrayJay Pay Account

• Returning Player with a GrayJay Pay account

The registration time period will be from August 5th - August 28th ONLY.  

• We are a small association and it is very important that we have accurate numbers when we need to make decisions about teams and levels.

• You are not required to pay when you register - just choose offline payment

• Any returning player looking to register after August 28th will be considered only if there is space.  The late fee will be $150.

Payment Options 

• The camps and tryouts must be paid in full by September 12th

• Only the registration costs can be paid with installments - the dates have been extended so that the camps and tryouts can be paid in September and the registration installments can be paid Oct 3rd, Nov 6th and Dec 4th.

• You can now log into GrayJayPay.ca at any time to pay with a credit card.

 Registration Fees:  

 U7: $420  (pay $335*)  

U9: $695 (pay $610*) 

U11/U13/U15/U18: $765 (each player will receive two practice jerseys) 

Pre-Season Camps

Please note that these programs have a cap so register early.  We will run a waitlist when the cap has been met.

Conditioning Camp:  Non- Refundable once registered.
This camp will prepare players for the try out process. This clinic is focused on getting players back in skating condition and ready for competition.  MD360 with Roger Boychuk will be running these sessions.  

-$80  (4 hrs of ice) U11 –U18 players  

Quick Start (Returning U7s & U9):  Non- Refundable once registered. 

This program is designed to get the players ready for the season under the instruction of MD360 with Roger Boychuk will be running these sessions.   

-$80  (4 hrs of ice) U7 & U9 returning players Only  

Goalie Camp #1 & 2:  Non- Refundable once registered. 

Working with a local goalie coach, focus on the essentials of goaltending and work on getting your game, skills and positional awareness ready for the season.  

-$60 (4 hrs of ice)   

ESMHA Skills Camp : **NEW**U9s are able to register for this camp this year.  Non- Refundable once registered. 

This camp is designed to focus on improving our player’s skill set, prior to the start of the season. This camp will be run by our very own ESMHA coaches and will provide a chance for players and coaches to get familiar with one another.   

-$60  (4 hrs of ice) U9 - U18

Tryouts –Outside ESMHA   

Any Player who intends to try out for a level that ES is not offering needs to first registrar with ESMHA, after registration closes and ES announces the levels being offered, please send an email to ESMHA Registrar stating that they would like a conditional release, please include the association and level intentions. Even players who have previously played for teams outside ESMHA need to register with Eastern Shore first.  (Releases are not required for U15 Major Bantam, U18 Minor, U18 Major or High School). Anyone needing more information on this process please feel free to contact esmharegistrar@gmail.com.    

HNS Regulation 2.28.   

"A Minor player who wishes to play at the U11 AA, U13 AAA, U15 AA, or U18 AA classification of competition, but whose MHA does not provide that classification, may try out for those teams in that division from another Association in his/her Region. A player may try out for up to two of these teams per year. A U11 player may try out for only one AA team per year.   

Any U11, U13, U15 or U18 age player whose Association does not provide U11 A, U13 AA, A, U15 A or U18 A may try out for one team at these levels in another Association in their Region." 

Players trying out for other Associations

If you are registering a player who will be trying out with a different association or group - please do not pay for the fees with a credit card, choose e-transfer instead (pay offline) (should you remain with ESMHA and want to pay with credit card that can be arranged). There are substantial fees with using credit cards and refunds also charge an additional cost.   

50/50 Credits  

Any player who has a 50/50 rebate will see it on their invoice under Credits.  If you are expecting a rebate and do not see it, please contact esmhatreasurer21@gmail.com before checking out.  

Female:   

Female Players wanting to play on all Female Teams are to register in the central registry. Metro East Inferno  

Third Child Discount   

ESMHA offers a discount for families registering 3 or more children who are playing Hockey with Eastern Shore Minor Hockey. The discount is ½ price registration to the youngest, does not include Camps or Tryouts. Please email esmhatreasurer21@gmail.com before you register your family so the discount can be added.

• If you will be paying with installments - please remember this is a courtesy to our ESMHA families and it is your responsibility to ensure payments are made on time or an alternate arrangement has been made with our treasurer.   

For the 2024-2025 season fee collection process:    

1. No cash will be accepted.  

2. For e-transfers is set to accept auto deposits.  There is a new email address for e-transfers to be sent esmhatreasurer21@gmail.com  Please remember to reference the player's full name in the message section of the e-transfer.  

3. Cheques will be deposited promptly after the due date. If you will be paying by cheque, please send all the installment cheques by Sept 12th to:

4. Credit card- full or installment payment are an option **except players releasing for trying outs in other associations - do not pay with credit card until you know you will be playing with ESMHA.  

• If you require a different payment option or plan, please reach out to Natalie Stevens at esmhatreasurer21@gmail.com  before the payment due date.  If a payment has not been received by the due date, a reminder email will be sent the next day, the family will then have three days to either make the payment or contact the treasurer to make an arrangement.  If this doesn't happen the player will not be in good standing and will no longer be allowed to attend any ice times until the amount owing has been paid or an arrangement has been made.  Please note this will be strictly enforced this season and any family who is not in contact with the treasurer will no longer be able to instalments as a payment option.

ESMHA will only be using the email you have used to register your players with for initial contact information. Once teams have been formed you can request to have other email addresses added to the contact list for the team.
