This is a reminder that the 2022-2023 ESMHA Annual General Meeting will take place Sunday evening June 11th 630-830pm at the ESRC Bingo Hall. 

Please see the purposed Bylaw changes in the attached ESMHA Bylaws. We believe it is important that we continue to grow and develop as an executive board, association, and partner to our community. The Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Coordinator will continue to support our female membership and also broaden that support to encompass all members of racialized and ethnic communities. The ED&I Coordinator will support members, have access to resources, and carve a pathway to a better partnership with our community. They will advise, counsel, and make recommendations to the board of directors. There will be further purposed updates to this role as we continue to grow and develop together.

Congratulations to our ESMHA volunteer team as we have been awarded Hockey Nova Scotia Development Association of the year. Congratulations to Rebecca Warner on being named Hockey Nova Scotia Development Coordinator of the year. Congratulations to Jared Vokey on being named HNS Bernie Lawlor Coach of the Month. 

This past season was amazing, and as we end the season with the AGM the planning begins for next season and our 50-year celebrations.

Good evening Mariner Families,

Volunteers Needed! Next season will mark 50 years of Minor hockey at the Eastern Shore Recreation Center. We will be celebrating the Mariners past and present all season long. U13B captures the GOLD Medal in a huge win over the home town team in a 4-1 victory!

Game was tied 1-1 heading in to the 3rd period when Eastern Shore scored 2 quick goals to make it 3-1 and sealed the win with a last minute goal over the South Shore Lumberjacks.

The team went 5-0 for this tournament and have gone undefeated during tournament play this year!

This is the second banner for the U13B team.

Eastern Shore Mariners U11B Team came home with the GOLD medal from PEI.
Congratulations!!

The U13B Mariners traveled to Cape Breton this past weekend to participate in the Bobby Joe Ryan Memorial Tournament.

They had an amazing time and played hard as a team, leaving the Island with GOLD Medals!

Mariners Goalie, Wyatt Bengert, was a wall between the pipes as the team had 2 shutouts and were undefeated on their path to GOLD!
