Friday night out at the Don Henderson Memorial Arena, the Wings hit the road for a special exhibition tilt against the South Colchester Elks—an all-new squad pulled together from a mix of local teams and skill levels. This wasn’t your typical matchup. The South Colchester Minor Hockey Association reached out to give their players a rare shot at competing at a higher pace, and the Wings were all in.

For the Elks, it was their first-ever game as a unit, and they showed serious promise. You could see the leadership on their bench, the energy in their chatter, and the buy-in from every kid wearing that logo. They battled hard, stayed positive, and never stopped grinding. It’s clear this group has the potential to grow into something strong.
